Son premier album studio fraîchement sorti, Elodie Ruillier est de retour sur scène avec des chansons… éclectiques. De l’anglais et du français, des textes légers ou plus graves, des rythmes endiablés et doux, le tout sous une voix « de velours » avec Franck Sitbon au piano. A découvrir d’urgence sur la scène du Zèbre le mardi 30 juin.
Un sourire, une fraîcheur, une voix, tantôt insouciante, tantôt profonde, des mélodies sensibles, mais jamais simplistes, des gimmicks hyper entraînants… La jeune auteur/compositeur/interprète a vécu trois ans à New York, et c’est spontanément, que dans son premier album, Affranchie, Elodie Ruillier mêle ses premières amours pour la variété française des années 70 (Michel Berger, Michel Polnareff...) à de fortes affinités pop rock anglo-saxonnes.
Il est donc bien naturel qu’elle ait choisi de véhiculer ses émotions en jouant avec les deux langues. Affranchie est le fruit d’une rencontre entre Elodie et le pianiste/auteur/compositeur Franck Sitbon, l’un des meilleurs musiciens de la profession, connu du grand public comme étant le pianiste de La Nouvelle Star. L’équipe qui a enregistré l’album est, d’ailleurs, composée de musiciens participant à l’émission depuis plusieurs saisons, tels que Marc Perier (basse) et François Bodin (guitare)... rejoints dans cette aventure par Thierry Chauvet (batterie).
Sur scène, Elodie agrandit sa famille et s’entoure d’autres musiciens à l’énergie résolument rock. Une équipe talentueuse, issue de sa génération, prête, comme elle, à en découdre avec la scène.

Nouvel album à paraitre pour la chanteuse anglaise Jem. C'est son second album qui succède au fameux Finally Woken, ce nouvel opus qui porte le nom de Down To Earth sera disponible dans les bacs en Angleterre dès le 2 Février prochain, mais cet album est déjà sorti depuis quelques jours aux Etats Unis.
Issu du film Sex & The City, le premier extrait s'intitule It's Amazing. Jem qui depuis 2005 enchante les radios va avec ce nouveau cd faire la tête des hits radios...Originaire du Pays de Galles, Jem arrive avec un album qui ne laissera pas indifférent les amoureux de bonne musique...
